NSP is launching a program to train and prepare more members of our community to lead services at NSP! The NSP Schlichei Tzibur*(Sha”tz) Training Program will cultivate a small cohort of NSP members to become regular prayer leaders at NSP. The first cohort will meet in-person for 10 sessions starting at the end of February over the course of 3+ months and focus on Friday night services (both Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv). The course will enable participants to learn, train, and practice with the siddur, nusach (musical chants), songs, melodies, and core skills of prayer leadership.
