The New Synagogue Project is building a spiritually vibrant, radically inclusive synagogue that reflects our vision for a world of justice, equity, and liberation. Our community is being created by and for families with kids, couples and single people, queer and trans people, disabled and chronically ill people, D/deaf and hard of hearing folks, interfaith families, Jews of color and white Jews, Jews from many religious and secular backgrounds, and anyone interested in exploring and experiencing Jewish life.

PURIM!!!

PURIM!!!

The New Synagogue Project is a multiracial Jewish community committed to dismantling racism and white supremacy. We are committed to providing a spiritual and communal home for those who may not always easily be able to find one elsewhere.

The Shema ingrains in our hearts and minds that we are woven into a larger Fabric of Being that encompasses all creation, teaching us to listen to and love ourselves, our neighbors, and all of creation, obligating us to be responsible to care for and support one another and the earth.

Become a Member

Becoming a member of NSP is a spiritual and political act. In Jewish terms, membership is a brit (a covenant) in which we enter into sacred relationship. Join today!

Learn at Kollel

Our innovative kids’ education program arts-based and justice-centered. Students in K-7th grade meet every Shabbat morning. Learn more and stay tuned for fall registration.

Celebrate Shabbat

Shabbat services at NSP are soulful and song-full. Learn more about all the ways we celebrate Shabbat together.

Donate

Founding and growing NSP has been possible through the generous contributions of our members, friends, and family, near and far. Make a gift to help this community continue to grow!

A drawing of torah scroll stretched out that says "synagogues for ceasefire" written across it.

Welcome to the New Synagogue Project! We support a ceasefire in Israel/Palestine.

NSP is proud to support Rabbis for Ceasefire. We join Synagogues Rising in urging the U.S. government to use its influence to de-escalate and interrupt this cycle of violence in Israel/Palestine. Learn more about this action here.
