High Holidays art by Maria Cramer

הִנֵּֽנִי/Hineni—Here I am

 אַיֶּֽכָּה/Ayeka – Where are you

This is the first question in the Torah and the question for us. The response: Hineni – HERE I AM.

In the midst of destruction, uncertainty, and distraction, I am here in community, in the presence of one another and the Divine, finding grounding and calm. We are resourcing each other to show up in our fullness, for ourselves and in the world. Join us for the Days of Awe.

In these uncertain times, we are more grateful than ever for the community we’ve built together as the New Synagogue Project, and look forward to renewing that commitment to each other as we enter into the High Holidays and a new year.

ALL are welcome, regardless of NSP membership status or ability to pay, and we hope you will be able to join us, in person or online.

Registration Information

We will continue to embrace a hybrid approach: Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur adult services will be held both in person (indoors) and online. We will also be offering indoor children’s services; outdoor school-age kids’ programming; outdoor-optional learning programming, an outdoor, in-person Tashlich ritual; and outdoor events with our Jews of Color Space.

We are honored to welcome back Batya Levine, who will be co-leading all adult services with Rabbi Yosef, including  TashlichRead more about Batya and Rabbi Yosef here.

Our services and programming are open to everyone, but advance registration is required. Registration will CLOSE on September 12.

NSP High Holiday programs are free of charge to be as financially accessible as possible. We ask those who are able to support our programs by making a sliding scale donation when reserving your High Holidays ticket. NSP is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization, and your support allows us to continue to serve our community and keep our services open and affordable to all.

Accessibility Information

We are committed to making High Holidays accessible and inclusive for all who wish to attend, including CART captioning, ASL interpretation, and wheelchair/mobility aid accessible locations.

For full details on how we are planning to meet our community’s access needs, please visit the High Holidays Accessibility Information page.
