Collective Healing for Collective Action

September 9 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

This is the first session of a two-part workshop. Dates are Monday, September 9 & Monday, September 23 from 7pm-8:30pm, with optional dinner at 6:30pm. The event will take place outdoors, weather permitting.

All are welcome to join the Jews of Color Space and Justice Team for a two-part workshop on Collective Healing for Collective Action: Facing Trauma to Show up in Solidarity. The first session will use text study and other resources to examine how inherited and learned racism and trauma shape community building, motivate behaviors, and inhibit actions. The second session will continue exploring how to move through trauma to build community, strengthen multiracial and multiethnic coalition work, and embrace shared security. The second session will also culminate in steps on how to take action.
