Our Justice Team shapes how we take action around our social justice values as a community. By building relationships with grassroots organizations, sitting on city-wide coalitions, engaging in political advocacy and education, and standing in solidarity with marginalized communities, NSP’s Justice Team works on using our communities strengths and assets to make DC a more just and equitable place to live for all.

As a community grounded in a vision for a just and equitable world, we are committed to working alongside movements for racial, economic, and environmental justice and opposing the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

The Justice Team also houses the NSP Israel/Palestine Action Hub. If you are looking to learn more about and/or get involved in one of the many groups doing work toward peace, justice, and liberation in Israel/Palestine, then check out the NSP I/P Action Hub Resource List. The action hub is a space to connect with NSP members and plug into various groups, campaigns, events and support related to our work in Palestine solidarity and ahavat yisrael/care and concern for fellow Jews.

Think of the hub as just that – a hub of a wheel with many spokes off of it. Each spoke takes you on a different pathway to entry. If you’re looking for Jewish political activism, we’ve got spokes for that. Perhaps you want to quickly plug into actions that are happening, and attend with fellow NSP members, or support with your skills in de-escalation, art making, or more – we can help plug you in there too. Or, are you struggling with grief, tough conversations with family and friends, or burn out from activism recently? There’s a spoke that can tend to you as well.

Take a look at the Resource List, and learn more about how the Action Hub works in The Action Hub Framework here. The Action Hub Framework gives an overview of the Resource List, and also outlines NSP’s institutional roles and responsibilities.
