Like a Tree Planted by the Water
Jeremiah taught that a tree planted by the water grows deep, expansive roots—ever connected to the Source of Life. Even in scorching heat, its leaves stay lush, fresh, and green; even in drought or storm, it can survive and bear fruit.
During the Days of Awe, we hope you will gather with us to nurture our roots as a community, letting them grow deeper, stronger, and more connected to the Source. Together we are moving through a time of truly terrifying storms. But planted by the water, strengthened by our connection, we can find a way to live with openness, love, and justice; to renew our commitment to caring for ourselves, our neighbors, and the world.
ALL are welcome, regardless of NSP membership status or ability to pay, and we hope you will be able to join us, in person or online.
Registration Information
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur main services will be held both in person and online. We will also be offering children’s services and school-age kids’ programming; learning programming; an outdoor, in-person Tashlich ritual; and outdoor events with our Kaleidoscope/Jews of Color Space.
We are honored to welcome back Batya Levine, who will be co-leading all main services with Rabbi Yosef. Read more about Batya and Rabbi Yosef here.
Our services and programming are open to everyone, but advance registration is required. Registration for in-person services will CLOSE on September 1. You can sign up for the virtual livestream at any time.
NSP High Holiday programs are free of charge to be as financially accessible as possible. We ask those who are able to support our programs by making a sliding scale donation when reserving your High Holidays ticket. NSP is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization, and your support allows us to continue to serve our community and keep our services open and affordable to all.
Accessibility Information
We are committed to making High Holidays accessible and inclusive for all who wish to attend, including CART captioning, ASL interpretation, and wheelchair/mobility aid accessible locations.
